Laredo City Hall to discuss water system updates

LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – The City of Laredo will hold a town hall meeting on Thursday evening, November 7, to update residents on efforts to improve the City’s water system and ensure clean water for all.

The meeting will be held at the Haynes Recreation Center, located at 2102 Clarks Crossing Dr., from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. City officials, including Mayor Dr. Victor Treviño, will discuss current projects and plans to prevent future boil water advisories.

“We are facing a problem that has existed for a long time,” said Dr. Treviño. “This is not something that happened today. People need to understand that we are addressing the problem head on and working towards solutions.

Residents are invited to attend to learn more about the city’s projects and ask questions about water system improvements.
