An Indian man felt the wrath of social media after speaking out about his ‘Gen Z’ colleague taking a week’s leave to deal with his breakup. The man, Krishna Mohan, took to social media and expressed his opinion on the situation and ended up being trolled by many.

Mohan wrote, “One of my Gen Z team members suddenly declared a week off. It was a critical moment in the project so I tried to reason. He didn’t move. The leave was because he had a breakup and wanted to go to the mountains to forget about the breakup.

In the next message, he said it was not two-way communication and that he had dealt with the negative impact it had on the project alone.

Soon after Mohan’s post went viral, he started facing criticism from social media users. Internet users accused him of not giving importance to the mental health of his employee.
