Man and woman rob Vancouver bank, remain at large

A man and woman robbed a bank in Vancouver Thursday afternoon and remain at large, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office said.

The couple entered the Umpqua Bank at 2515 NE 134th Street around 4:40 p.m., wearing hospital masks, officials said. The man had long brown hair cascading over his shoulders. The woman wore a pink sweater and a gray headband.

The man “implied he had a gun” and the robbers quickly left the bank with the money employees had given them. It is not yet clear how much money they received, officials said.

Police are asking anyone with information about the theft or who can identify the thieves to contact detectives. Tanya Johnson at [email protected].
