MPW Debutantes: Accenture’s Arundhati Chakraborty Leads the Charge in Mastering Complex Client Transformations

Arundhati Chakraborty spent over 11 years at global technology services company Accenture. It has significantly contributed to the growth of its $10 billion operating business by leveraging the vast opportunities created by artificial intelligence (AI), generative AI and automation. In recognition of these efforts, she was elevated to Group Managing Director, Operations at Accenture in August 2024. She was previously Managing Director and Global Head of Business Process Services Delivery.

Responsible for overseeing a global team of more than 220,000 professionals, she excels at managing complex transformations for clients. His ability to shape and implement talent management strategies across diverse and geographically dispersed teams has helped create immense value for clients around the world. For these reasons, debuted on the BT MPW list.

With an MBA in Marketing from the University of Calcutta and an Advanced Diploma in Leadership from Harvard Business School, Chakraborty’s academic foundation complements his impressive professional journey.

Reflecting on his career, Chakraborty says, “If I could go back (in time) and give myself some advice, it would be to… take things a little bit slowly and eventually go faster and focus on establishing strong relationships before pleading. for change,” says Chakraborty.
