Two men fall asleep in car after robbing business: Escambia County Sheriff’s Office

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Florida (WKRG) — Deputies with the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office arrested two men Wednesday after they allegedly burglarized a business before falling asleep in a car.

According to an ECSO Facebook postpolice were called to a construction site on November 6 to reports of a burglary and the two suspects had left the scene in a red BMW.

Another call came into the sheriff’s office around the same time and the caller reported that two men had passed out in a red BMW, authorities said.

The release states officers responded to the scene and found several stolen items from the construction site, including batteries and drywall mix. Police also said they found drugs in the car.

“Perhaps these medications would encourage an otherwise alert burglar to take advantage of a quiet parking lot to recharge,” the statement read.

Fort Walton Beach man arrested and charged with multiple counts of possession of child pornography

Charles Keith Wilkinson, 36, and Isaac Faulkner Jenkins, 25, were arrested and charged with burglary, theft and trespassing. Jenkins was also charged with drugs and Wilkinson was charged with weapons.
