Augusta: VA Maine Annual Veterans Day Ceremony on November 11, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in Togus, outside building 200, near the common flagpole. Light refreshments will be served following the ceremony. All are welcome!

Belfast: Veterans Day Parade at 11 a.m. November 11. Prior to the parade, the Belfast VFW will present cash awards to students who won cash prizes in their essay competitions at Belfast Area High School.

Madsion: VFW Post 7865 is hosting a ceremony at its memorial next to the Post on November 11 at 11:30 a.m. Guest speakers include John “Jack” Ducharme and VFW State Commander for Maine Anthony Kimball.

Veterans Day Deals

Applebee’s: Veterans and active-duty military can enjoy a special Veterans Day meal at Applebee’s nationwide on November 11 (dine-in only).

Aroma Joe’s: All veterans on November 11, veterans can have a FREE 24 ounce drink of ANY KIND (not just coffee!) at all 119 Aroma Joe’s locations.

Chilies: All veterans and active military personnel can receive a free meal on November 11 at all participating Chili’s Grill & Bar restaurants. Available at the restaurant only for certain items. Military ID required to redeem offer.

Danny: Active and retired military personnel can enjoy a free Original Grand Slam® breakfast at participating locations nationwide from 5 a.m. to noon on November 11. Veterans and active duty military personnel may present a valid military ID or DD 214 to receive this offer.

IHOP: Veterans and active duty military members will receive a free red, white and blueberry pancake combo on November 11 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dine-in only, at participating restaurants.

Little Caesars: Veterans and active-duty military members can enjoy a free lunch combo at participating locations on November 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Veterans and active duty military personnel will be required to show proof of service.

Robin: Veterans and active duty military can enjoy a free Red’s Big Tavern Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries on November 11th. Dinner on site only. Proof of service required.

Starbucks: Starbucks is honoring those who served a free large (12 ounce) brewed coffee (hot or iced) for veterans, service members and military spouses at participating U.S. stores and approved locations on November 11.

Uno Pizzeria & Grill: Military members, past and present, can receive free admission on November 11. Military or Veteran ID is required. Dinner on site only.
