Nine-year NBA veteran wants Giannis Antetokounmpo to join Warriors

There’s no escaping it, the Milwaukee Bucks have been the most disappointing team in the NBA so far this season. After eight games, the team is a dismal 2-6, even with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard.

With the Bucks struggling, it created a wave of trade rumors around the team. Some rumors link Giannis to the Miami Heat or Brooklyn Nets, but one former NBA player thinks he should join the Warriors.

During an episode of FanDuel TV’s Run it Back, nine-year NBA veteran Chandler Parsons expressed his thoughts on Giannis’ departure from the Milwaukee Bucks.

“Miami, I’m all for the lifestyle and for the city,” Parsons said. “But if I look across town and I want a trade because I’m losing, why the hell would those two teams be the two teams you want to go to…I think it has to be the Warriors, Thunder, and Rockets… If I’m Giannis, yes, I would want to go play with Steph Curry.”

As it stands, the Golden State Warriors have a fantastic 7-1 record. It’s too early to evaluate whether or not the team should actually make a move, as it takes about at least 20 games to evaluate. Giannis would be a great fit for the team, but the current roster needs more time together.

If Steph Curry and Giannis teamed up, it would shake the foundations of the NBA.
