This Noodle House Will Soon Be Serving Tasty Bowls in Burnaby

Captain Thai Noodle House is hosting a soft launch this weekend.

A new noodle restaurant is coming to Burnaby.

Captain Thai Noddle House, located at 4685 Kingsway, will open this weekend and specialize in savory bowls similar to Thailand’s bustling river markets.

The restaurant says each bowl is prepared with care and includes rich broths, tender noodles and traditional herbs and spices.

“Our boat noodles offer an authentic taste of Thailand, where the warmth of homemade flavors meets the adventurous spirit of Thai cuisine,” read a statement from Captain Tai Noodle House about its launch.

“It’s a dish widely enjoyed in Thailand, but little known in Vancouver, and we think it will offer diners a special new way to experience Thai cuisine.”

Bowls include Signature Pork Boat Noodles, Signature Beef Boat Noodles and Signature Chicken Boat Noodles.

The bowls feature a dark brown colored broth with aromas of spices, offering a savory sweetness with a lingering aftertaste.

Tom Yum Shrimp Noodle Soup contains lemongrass, galangal, and time leaves, giving it a rich flavor with a moderate level of spiciness.

Fishball Noodles in Light Broth features a clear, sweet broth with fishballs and white radish, providing a refreshing option for those who prefer milder tastes.
