Veterans Day is Monday, November 11, and in honor of those who have served, restaurants across the country are showing their gratitude with a range of free meals, discounts and other well-deserved perks.

Most discounts will require proof of military ID. To receive discounts online, you may need to register with ID.me to verify military service.

As of Veterans Day 2020, current military members and their dependents, veterans, and Gold Star families began receiving free lifetime access to national parks, wildlife refuges, and other federal lands managed by the Department of the Interior. according to the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The restaurant chain welcomes all active duty military, veterans, reserves and National Guard members to visit their local Applebee’s to enjoy a free entree to the restaurant an exclusive menu. These guests will also receive $5 toward their next takeout, pickup or delivery meal within three weeks.

Bar Louie invites all active and retired military personnel, as well as veterans, to enjoy a free Bar Louie Craft Burger at home. Available all day and late at night, military members can choose from a selection of artisan burger favorites like the Bourbon BBQ Burger, GastroBurger and more on Sunday, November 10 and Monday, November 11.

Offer valid for dine-in only at participating locations and recipients must present valid military ID.

BJ’s Restaurant and Brewery will celebrate the nation’s veterans and active duty service members with a free Chocolate Chunk Pizookie with no minimum food purchase. Current and former military personnel will also receive a free appetizer coupon that can be used between November 12 and December 31, 2024.

California Pizza Kitchen honors veterans and active duty military with a free meal of one fixed price menu on November 11. They will also receive a free drink.

Military personnel are asked to come in uniform or bring their military ID or other proof of service.

Chili’s is offering veterans and active military members a free meal when dining out only from a select menu on November 11th. Drinks and gratuity are not included.

Veterans and active duty military can visit their local Cracker Barrel location to receive a free Sunrise Pancake Special. The offer is available to dine-in customers nationwide.

The restaurant’s buffet shows its appreciation to the men and women in uniform with its annual Military Appreciation Night, Monday, November 11, 2024, from 4 p.m. until closing. Active members and veterans will receive a complimentary thank you buffet and beverage.

Both Veterans Day and Memorial Day honor the American military community, but the two holidays serve different purposes.

On November 11, all veterans who present military ID or proof of service and purchase a beverage at any participating Hooters store nationwide will receive a free entry from the Hooters Veterans Day menu (available for dinner only). The Hooters Veterans Day Menu features five of Hooters’ most popular entrees including: Buffalo Chicken Salad, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Hooters Burger and 10-Piece Boneless Wings .

Veterans face a number of adjustment challenges when leaving the military. From November 8-11, Kona Grill is offering 50% off food to all veterans and active duty military. Dine onsite only with military ID or proof of service.

Current military personnel and veterans can receive a free lunch combo, consisting of four slices of Little Caesars’ popular Detroit-style Deep Dish pizza, accompanied by a 20-ounce Pepsi product, at participating locations between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The restaurant chain invites all active duty military and veterans to visit their local Lucille’s on November 11 to enjoy a free meal at the restaurant. There will be two entries to choose from. These guests will also receive a $10 bonus card for their next meal between November 29 and December 8.

“Freedom is not free.” Veterans will receive a free sandwich on Veterans Day.

Veterans can enjoy a free Bloomin’ Onion and Coca-Cola drink or domestic draft beer on Veterans Day with valid proof of service.

Perry’s is offering veterans and military members a free pork chop or 3-course military menu for $39 on November 11 from 4:00 p.m. – close when accompanied by a guest purchasing an entrée.

Reservations and military ID are required.

Active or non-active military, firefighters, police, EMTs and their spouses can get 10% off their entire purchase on November 11 when they mention the Hero Discount Program at checkout. Valid ID is required to redeem.

All veterans and active duty military personnel will receive a free Red’s Big Tavern Burger and bottomless steak fries on November 11th. The one-time offer is valid for dine-in only.

On Monday, November 11, Starbucks will offer a free “large” (12 ounce) hot or iced brewed coffee to active military, veterans and military spouses. Simply mention your military affiliation when ordering.

Veterans will receive 50% off food all weekend long at STK Steakhouse, Friday, November 8th through Monday, November 11th.

Taziki will pay tribute to veterans with “Gyros for our Heroes”. All veterans will receive a free grilled chicken gyro meal, which includes chips and a choice of side with their Veterans Day dinner.

Active military personnel who wear a U.S. military uniform or present a valid veteran’s ID card at participating restaurants will receive a free classic donut on Veterans Day.

On November 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., veterans and active-duty military personnel can dine-in from a special menu or receive a meal voucher to use later for dine-in or takeout. The voucher is valid until May 30, 2025.

Twin Peaks will offer veterans a free lunch on November 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Veterans will be able to choose from a curated menu including items such as a cheeseburger, chicken tenders, Caesar salad (chicken or shrimp) or chicken street tacos at participating locations.

Past and present military members will receive a free meal for dinner only on Veterans Day. Must present military or veteran ID.
