Josh Classen’s Wild Weather Week for November 7

Here are some of the wild weather events that made headlines around the world last week.

Clean-up work is underway following widespread flooding which has killed more than 200 people in eastern Spain.

Teams continue to search for dozens of missing people.

The floods were triggered by thunderstorms which brought torrential rain.

Residents in many areas have spent the past week trying to shake off the thick layer of mud that covered towns.

There has been an outbreak of tornadoes in parts of the southern United States recently, including an EF-3 tornado that struck Oklahoma City.

This tornado decimated some neighborhoods, ripping roofs off homes, overturning vehicles and causing millions of dollars in damage.

Nearly a dozen people were injured, but no deaths were reported.

Parts of Saudi Arabia have been hit by hail caused by powerful thunderstorms.

In some areas, the hail was thick enough to resemble a thick layer of snow.

Parts of the country are in the grip of a cold spell that has also brought snow to mountainous areas.

Further thunderstorms with heavy rain and possibly hail are expected in the coming days.
