Dakota High School students give back to the community by raking leaves in neighborhood yards

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – Some Fargo students traded their pens and papers for rakes and trash bags Friday afternoon.

Dakota High School students were able to get out of the classroom and give back to the community.

They were raking leaves in neighborhood yards.

They hit three houses near Agassiz in about two hours.

“It feels good. It also feels good to be outside of the classroom,” senior Grant Zola said. “It feels good to help the community a little, here and there. »

The school’s positive behavior technician handed out flyers earlier in the week to gauge interest among those looking to clean up their yards.
