Horror Comedy Black Sheep To Begin Production On Its Sequel By April 2025, Entertainment News

The horror comedy film Black Sheep will have a sequel.

The 2006 film, set in New Zealand, follows a group of people forced to defend themselves when a genetic engineering experiment transforms harmless sheep into flesh-eating zombies.

WTFilms is currently working with original writer-director Jonathan King who will bring to the big screen the sequel to a story he wrote with Matthew Grainger and Rosie Howells.

The plot of Black Sheep 2 will follow a young scientist who discovers a new pathogen that poses a threat to humanity. She traces him back to his hometown which is located near the farm where the events of Black Sheep took place.

It is Angus’s experiments on his livestock that transform the sheep from docile vegetarians into carnivorous killers.

The film will be produced by King and Grainger as well as James Partridge and Samantha Braun of Terror-Fi Films.

Executive producers are Richard Fletcher of Libertine Pictures, Philippa Campbell, and Ari Harrison and Jasmin McSweeney of Umbrella Entertainment.
