Wet in the north, dry in the south Sunday morning

Early Sunday morning, the low pressure center that brought us periods of showers Saturday afternoon will move across northern Iowa. As it does so, it brings a round of additional showers to areas primarily along and north of Highway 20. An isolated shower could reach as far south as Interstate 80, but areas south of Highway 20 can expect to stay dry for most, if not all, Sunday morning.

The last of the showers are expected to clear out by Sunday afternoon and clouds will gradually decrease across eastern Iowa Sunday evening and Sunday evening. Highs Sunday reach the mid 50s and we fall into the upper 30s and lower 40s Sunday evening.

Dry start to the week, rain on Wednesday

Veterans Day and Tuesday both feature dry conditions with plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the mid to upper 50s. Lows will be between 30 and 30 degrees Monday evening and between 40 and 40 degrees Tuesday evening. Our next storm system arrives during the day Wednesday and brings us another chance for rain. This disturbance, however, spreads quickly and we are dry again Wednesday evening. The rest of next week will be dry with highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s and 40s before another chance of rain arrives next weekend.
