EYE ON CRIME: Police ask for help locating porch pirate and shoplifter

Winnipeg Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in locating a porch pirate and shoplifter. To help generate tips, Crime Stoppers has released photos.

On October 12, a person went to a residence in the 300 block of Harbison Avenue and stole a package that had just been delivered.

On October 22, a person entered a retail store located in the 3400 block of Pembina Highway and loaded a shopping cart full of merchandise. The suspect then walked to the front of the store and exited without paying for the merchandise. When store employees approached the suspect, he threatened them with a gun in his hand. The suspect then fled before police arrived.
