TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Sunday looks to continue Saturday’s mild and dry conditions, with highs in the lower to mid 60s under plenty of sunshine. We’ll drop a bit more overnight to around 40, but that will likely be where we hit the low point in the coming days.

Temperatures are expected to remain in the low to mid 60s for much of the coming week, although showers and storms approach our area by Tuesday evening.

Today: Sunny, with a high near 63. West wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 41. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Veterans Day: Sunny, with a high near 66. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 39. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph after midnight.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 63. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Tuesday evening: 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 49. South wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Wednesday: 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 60. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust up to 20 mph.
