“Ridepool” driver wanted after sexual assault of woman in Brampton: police – CP24

A man is wanted after posing as a rideshare driver and then sexually assaulting a Brampton woman late last week, police said.

The incident occurred on November 8.

Peel Regional Police (PRP) say an 18-year-old woman was at a bus stop at Goreridge Crescent and Via Romano Way when an unknown man in a vehicle approached her and propositioned her to drive her in exchange for a cash payment, she said.

The man then drove the woman to a location near the Clareville Conservation Area, on Highway 50, near Gore Road, where he allegedly sexually assaulted her.

The suspect is described as being of South Asian descent, with a medium complexion, bleached black hair (short on top), a well-groomed black beard, a medium to muscular build, an average height, and approximately 20 years of age. at 25 years old. He was last seen wearing a blue or black winter jacket and black pants.

The suspect vehicle is described as a dark-colored four-door sedan.
