Broward County Students to Examine How AI Can Build a Better Business

Thousands of Broward County high school students are invited to compete for prizes by answering the $10,000 question: How can artificial intelligence be used to make your favorite business even better?

THE KPMG AI Business Revolution Challengewhich runs through November 22, is open to all Broward County Public Schools students in grades 9-12. The competition is available for free KnoPro platform offered by the non-profit national education NAF.

The KnoPro Challenge asks students to share their best ideas on how AI can help their favorite companies improve their products or services, improve their customer service, and grow their business while making a positive impact on the world. The winning students or teams will share $10,000.

Launched a year ago, KnoPro is a work-based learning platform that allows high school students to tackle real-world problems faced by business leaders, receive expert feedback from industry mentors, to develop their professional skills and their CV, while having the chance to earn money. and prices. This award-winning technology is used by 10,000 students and educators in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands.

According to an NAF survey, more than 97% of students said KnoPro strengthened their essential skills such as collaboration, communication, problem solving and social awareness. Additionally, 95% reported learning new job titles or career paths that they were previously unaware of.

NAF has a growing presence in Florida with 150 academies, serving 40,000 students in 65 high schools. Broward County is home to 18 career readiness academies at nine high schools. Academies equip students with real-world job skills and connect them with local employers for mentorships, internships and, potentially, future employment. In total, NAF operates more than 600 academies nationwide, serving more than 110,000 students.
