Vote among the 13 nominees for the Daily News Female Athlete of the Week (11/4-11/10)

As the calendar flipped, Hudson’s Maddie Haher received nearly 1,200 votes to win the Daily News Female Athlete of the Week that begins in November. Vote for this week’s honor below, with 13 nominees to choose from.

Emily Burnham, Wellesley soccer player

The junior scored three total goals as the Raiders beat Plymouth North and Lincoln-Sudbury to begin their playoff run.

Shannon Griffin, Wellesley field hockey

She made 27 saves for the Warriors in a 3-2 double-overtime win over Bishop Feehan on Tuesday in the Division 1 round of 16.

Anya Holden, Holliston football player

The senior scored a goal in a 2-1 win over Billerica on Wednesday. She scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Westwood on Saturday.

Maggie Kuchman, Holliston cross country

The defending all-state champion won the Division 2B title Saturday at Devens, site of her victory last year and this weekend’s all-state meet. Kuchman ran 18:50 Saturday, nearly a minute ahead of Wayland’s Mia Rent.

Milla Lee, Dover-Sherborn soccer

Another big week for seniors: Lee scored twice in a 5-1 playoff win over Archbishop Williams on Wednesday; two days later, his overtime goal completed a hat trick in a 3–2 victory.

Serena Loo, Wellesley swimming

The freshman won the 100 breaststroke and finished third in the 200 individual medley and was part of the winning 200 medley relay as the Raiders won their fourth straight state championship Sunday in Boston.

Olivia Melanson, Medway field hockey

The senior scored two goals, including the game-winner in overtime, Wednesday against Dedham before scoring the game-winner Saturday against Medfield.

Kyah Montano, Nipmuc football

The senior triple-digit scorer scored four goals Tuesday, which set the Warriors’ all-time record, and added an assist in a 4-0 win over Nauset. She added a goal against Medway in the round of 16 on Friday.

Cassidy Moriarty, Natick football

The senior captain scored twice against Methuen on Wednesday before adding another two days later against Framingham.

Maddie Recupero, Hopkinton football player

The senior scored a hat trick for the Hillers in a 6-0 playoff win over Shrewsbury on Tuesday.

Sophie Soto, Bellingham volleyball

The sophomore had 23 digs and four aces on Sunday (11/3) before scoring her 1,000th career dig against Norfolk Aggie on Thursday.

Charlotte Tuxbury, Wellesley cross country

The senior ran 18:46 to win the Division 1B title at Northfield Mountain on Saturday. Emma Tuxbury placed third and Maddie Tuxbury fourth as the Raiders placed second as a team.

Georgia Tyrrell, Westborough volleyball

The senior had 16 kills and four blocks in a win over Walpole on Wednesday, then totaled 30 kills in another sweep Friday, this time against Duxbury.
