Steve Clarke’s men face Croatia at Hampden Park on Friday before traveling to Warsaw on Monday where they will hope to pick up points in their bid for League A survival.

In a bid to aid their efforts, Armstrong returns to the fold, while MLS Player of the Year Lewis Morgan and Torino striker Ché Adams have withdrawn through injury.

Clarke had previously been criticized for his midfield choices, with many calling for Motherwell youngster Lennon Miller to be given an opportunity in the senior set-up.
