All Pokémon TCG Pocket Secret Missions Listed

Secret missions In Pokémon TCG Pocket are exactly what they sound like – missions you won’t know exist when you start Pokémon Pocket. In fact, the game won’t let you know they exist until you’ve collected all the cards required for said secret mission.

Still, it’s worth knowing what Pokémon TCG Pocket’s secret missions actually are since the rewards include a pack of free hourglasses. One Secret Mission also rewards you with a very special Pokémon. Remember that secret missions will take you a while, as many involve collecting the rarest cards in the game!

How to Complete Secret Missions in Pokémon TCG Pocket: Every Secret Mission Listed

Below you’ll find all the Secret Missions currently available in Pokémon TCG Pocket and the cards you’ll need to complete them:

Remember: these missions will only appear in the game once you have completed them.

Complete the Kanto Pokédex!


As the name suggests, “Complete the Kanto Pokédex!” » requires you to collect a card for each Pokémon in the Kanto Pokédex in Pokémon TCG Pocket. Well, other than Mew, but we’ll get to Mew.

This means you need 150 cards to complete these secret missions and, if you want to check which Pokémon you are missing, take a look at our List of Generation 1 Pokémon where we have listed all Kanto Pokémon in national Pokédex order.

For completing this secret mission, you will receive the Immersive Mew card to truly ensure you have a card for every Pokémon in the Kanto region.

The Immersive 4

The secret mission “The Immersive 4” is completed by obtaining the four old Immersive cards in Pokémon Pocket. For this reason, you must first complete “Complete the Kanto Pokédex!” » The secret mission if you want to complete “The Immersive 4” is, at the time of writing, the only way to obtain the Immersive Mew card. Add to that the rarity of the other three immersive maps, this challenge will likely take you a while to complete.

The Kanto Region 2 Gym Leader

“Gym Leader of the Kanto Region 2” is the secret mission version of “Gym Leaders of the Kanto Region” thematic collection. For this secret mission, you will need to collect the full version of the illustrations of each of the Gym Leader cards. These cards are incredibly rare, so don’t be surprised if this secret mission takes you a while.

The cards you need and their boosters are:

  • Rock – Genetic Apex Pikachu
  • Foggy – Genetic Apex Pikachu
  • Lieutenant Surge – Genetic Apex Pikachu

“Genetic Apex Museum 1 (Charizard)” challenges you to collect all the full Pokémon cards – not including Immersive Charizard ex – available in Genetic Apex Charizard booster packs.

These cards are:

  • Darkness
  • Lapras
  • Meowth
  • Pinsir
  • Rapidash
  • Lambin

Apex 2 Genetic Museum (Mewtwo)

“Genetic Apex Museum 2 (Mewtwo)” is the Mewtwo Genetic Apex booster version of the above secret mission. It does not require the ex-Immersive Mewtwo card. All you have to do is collect the complete illustrations of the following Pokémon cards for the Mewtwo packs:

  • Bulbasaur
  • Cubone
  • Idem
  • Dragonite
  • Golbat
  • Pigeon
  • Porygon
  • Weeding

Rewards: pack of 12 hourglasses, 36 Wonder hourglasses and 10 store tickets.

Apex 3 Genetic Museum (Pikachu)

“Genetic Apex Museum 3 (Pikachu)” requires you to collect all the complete Pokémon art cards from the Pikachu Genetic Apex booster packs. (Who would have thought it after the two previous secret missions…) This mission does not include the ex-Immersive Pikachu map.

You will need to collect the following full versions of the illustrations:

  • Diglett
  • Electrode
  • Eevee
  • Gyarados
  • Nidoking
  • Nidoqueen
  • Snorlax
  • Squirtle

The legendary flight continues

“The Legendary Flight Continues” is an alternate version of the secret mission from “The Legendary Flight” themed collection. Unlike the original version, the secret mission “The Legendary Flight Continues” can only be obtained by collecting the full art cards for each of the Legendary Bird cards.

Here are the cards you need to find:

  • Articuno ex – Mewtwo Genetic Apex Boosters
  • Sulfur ex -Charizard Genetic Apex Boosters
  • Zapdos ex – Pikachu Genetic Apex Boosters

Rewards: 12 Hourglasses, 48 ​​Wonder Hourglasses, and a Legendary Bird Emblem.
