The Canadian administration is reportedly demanding money from Hindu groups to provide them with protection, senior intelligence sources said. Sources said Hindu organizations were angry with Canadian police for demanding money from them.

Peel police reportedly demanded $70,000 to provide protection to Hindu groups, according to sources. Canadian Hindu organizations have accused Justin Trudeau’s government of “abusing their civil rights.” “We are also taxpayers, why this bias against us? The Peel police, instead of tackling our problems, are putting undue pressure on us,” the Canadian daily said. Hindu groups said.

Intelligence sources said this has been going on for some time as the administration faces pressure from Khalistani groups to cancel Hindu events. “The Trudeau government is under pressure ahead of the finance bill to oblige Khalistan groups and its former ally Jagmeet Singh, the leader of the Canadian NDP,” sources said.

“This is the first time in the world that the local police are asking for money to protect minorities,” sources add.

Pannun threatens Canadian Hindus

This comes amid growing threats against Hindus from Khalistan terrorists.

Founder of Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) Gurpatwant Singh Pannun announced new dates for temple attacks in Canada and issued an open threat to Hindu MP Chandan Arya, triggering a response from India that called the actions “acts of terrorism.”

In his threat, Pannun said the SFJ would target Indian diplomats at Hindu temples on November 16 and 17. “We will shake the foundations of Ayodhya… the Canadian Prime Minister and the RCMP have admitted that Indian diplomats are spying on Canadian Sikhs and are responsible for the assassination of Shaheed Nijjar… THE NEXT challenge to Indian terrorist diplomats will take place : November 16 at Kalibari Mandir, Mississauga and November 17, Triveni Mandir, Brampton (sic)”.

Attacks on Hindu temples began on a large scale in the past year, including shootings at the home of Satish Sharma, president of Surrey’s Lakshmi Narayan Mandir.

On Sunday, November 3, protesters waving Khalistan flags clashed with worshipers at a Hindu temple in Brampton. The Laxmi Narayan Mandir in Surrey was attacked the same day.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly condemned the “deliberate attack” in Brampton and called the violence a “cowardly attempt” to intimidate Indian diplomats in the country. “I strongly condemn the deliberate attack on a Hindu temple in Canada. Equally appalling are the cowardly attempts to intimidate our diplomats. Such acts of violence never weaken India’s resolve. We expect the Canadian government to ensure justice and uphold the rule of law,” Prime Minister Modi said in an X post.
