Western Canada’s Largest Christmas Store Opens Near Vancouver

Discover a “vast holiday wonderland” throughout the 28,000 square foot center.

A Metro Vancouver store has transformed into all things Christmas for the holiday season.

Every year, Potters Nursery in Surrey undergoes a festive makeover, offering a “vast holiday wonderland” across the entire 28,000 square foot center.

The Potters team says they spend all year traveling the world in search of unique products, which is what makes their selection so diverse. Some items include handpicked ornaments, designer trees, over 50 styles of stockings, collectibles, stocking stuffers, food items and many more.

Now in its 20th year, the Potters store’s Christmas store has 33 themed Christmas trees, including two towering, upside-down trees adorned with lights and sparkling white decorations.

Locals looking for unique gifts for a hard-to-buy-for loved one can find rare items, games, puzzles and “great personalized gifts” with themes such as pets, travel, food, Baby’s first Christmas and much more. .

Potters Christmas Store Displays and Sections

The Potters houses intricate exhibits and store sections, providing customers with multiple experiences during their visit.

The team created a new main entrance with “thousands of magical, sparkling ornaments of blue, white, silver and gold” in an area they call the “Blue, Blue Christmas.” Likewise, the Dark Room takes guests into a 3,000 square foot gallery lit by night lights, Christmas-themed water lanterns and LED Infinity lights.

Candyland, a returning favorite, features sweaty ornaments such as donuts, gingerbread, cotton candy and macaroons.

Want real dishes?

The gourmet area offers specialty items, hot chocolate in over 40 flavors, locally made jellies and salty pretzels. Shoppers can also get “Bags of Poop” (chocolate-covered caramel in super cute bags) for fun Christmas gifts.

The “men’s zone” is home to cool gifts for – you guessed it – men, ranging from soaps, slippers, manicure sets and scarves to hot sauce. There is also a space for women to find accessories, outerwear, comfortable loungewear and much more.

Potters continues its “fan favorite” tradition: the Santa newsletter. The free activity encourages children to do household chores between now and Christmas Eve (December 24).

THE Christmas Shop at Potters is located at 19158 – 48th Ave. in Surrey and is open daily until December 24. Store hours are Monday and Tuesday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Wednesday to Friday: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
