Round five of the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership season begins with a Thursday night clash at Adelaide Oval where the Adelaide Crows take on the Geelong Cats in the opening match of the AFL Gather Round.

The 7.10pm match at Adelaide Oval will be the first of nine matches played in South Australia.

The last time the Crows and Geelong faced each other was in Round 21 in 2024, where Geelong secured a five-point victory in a hard-fought clash.
