Mike Tyson says he will become the ‘devil himself’ for Jake Paul fight

Mike Tyson is ready to get in the ring with Jake Paul.

As he prepares for his next fight with Paul, 27, on November 15, the 58-year-old boxer looked confident as he told reporters including ESPN“I bring the devil himself (into the ring),” during open training.

“There are no feelings attached,” added Tyson, who called Paul a “friend” and “a very exciting fighter” in his recent Interview magazine functionality. The fighter later told reporters he wouldn’t hold back during his outing at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with the former YouTube star.

Tyson continued: “My own mother should be very careful if she has to get in the ring with me. When it’s over, it’s over. But while the process is underway, my intention is to harm her “I hope he has the same intentions, or he’s in trouble,” according to ESPN.

In his Interview feature film, released Nov. 12, Tyson spoke to actress Rosie Perez about his public perception — and why he doesn’t care what people think of him. “How people perceive me is none of my business,” Tyson told Perez, 60.

“That’s how I see myself. They may think I’m the psycho guy, the prison guy, the fucking guy who doesn’t give a fuck and says anything without filter. If they believe That I’m the guy trying to pull yourself together, that’s cool too, but it doesn’t really matter.”

“It only matters how I feel and what I believe in myself,” Tyson added.

Tyson told Perez to Interview that he is impressed by Paul’s large following and his ability to “put on a show” in the ring. “Boxing is both entertaining and spiritual,” Tyson said. “When you fight, you fight with your spirit, your will, your determination. Your skills alone are not enough.”

But when he comes face to face with Paul, Tyson believes anything is possible. “Hey, I’m fighting. I’m defending myself. He’s going to try to hurt me, so I have to try to hurt him.”
