Glastonbury 2025 tickets – sales times, prices and how much you can buy

The countdown to Glastonbury 2025 is officially launched and for many, the first challenge is to navigate and planning the ticket purchasing process.

With high demand and limited availability, it’s essential to be prepared for the partywhich takes place between 25th and 29th June 2025 at Worthy Farm, Somerset.

Here’s the breakdown of when tickets go on sale, how much they cost, and the rules for how many tickets you can buy.

When do Glastonbury 2025 tickets go on sale?

Bus tickets will be available for purchase on Thursday at 6 p.m., before general admission tickets go on sale on Sunday, November 17 at 9 a.m.

Bus tickets are tickets that include travel to and from the Glastonbury Festival by coach.

Coaches will depart from 28 locations across the country, from Bristol to Glasgow.

How much are the tickets ?

For the 2025 festival, tickets cost £373.50 plus a £5 booking fee. If you buy a coach ticket, you’ll also pay the cost of a return or one-way ticket, ranging from £47 to £160 depending on location.

The deposit is £75 and the remaining balance is due in April.

The price of a ticket has increased slightly this year from £355 in 2024, but when the first Glastonbury fair took place in 1970, ticket prices were incredibly low at £1.

Having increased slightly over the years to £49 in 1992, the number of stages grew and the festival was now known as one of the best in the world.

In 2003, the ticket price exceeded the £100 mark for the first time, with performances by REM, RadioheadMoby and the Darkness.

As prices rose last year, experts at OLBG analyzed the rise in general sale ticket prices since 2013 and found that fans will most likely pay more than £500 for a ticket to the festival by 2030.

How many tickets can you buy?

Customers can reserve up to six tickets per transaction, the festival website says.

There will be 130,000 tickets sold to regular punters at public ticket sales and 5,000 tickets sold to local people living within a specified radius of the festival.

These tickets give access to the site on the last day of the festival only.

How does the new ticketing system work?

Glastonbury has revealed that instead of having a queue page that users have to refresh to access the See Tickets site, this year they will be placed in a queue.

When sales open, each user will be randomly assigned a place in the queue.

If you join after the sales open, you will automatically be assigned to the back, so make sure to log in at least a few minutes before.

Once you reach the front of the queue, you can continue as usual. You then have 10 minutes to enter the registration numbers of up to six people and make the purchase.

Can you resell Glastonbury tickets?

No, Glastonbury Festival tickets are personalized with a photo of the ticket holder and cannot be transferred to another recipient.

There is, however, an official resale. If someone fails to pay the remaining balance of their ticket, their tickets are returned to the Glastonbury system and offered for resale.

Resales generally take place a few months after the main sale.
