Murder of teenager Glen Burnie 35 years ago still leaves police perplexed

Mary Kathleen Grant, 15, Pasadena, was named Kathy.

She disappeared on January 9, 1989. Kathy was expected at an apartment on Americana Circle but never arrived.

She was last seen by her twin sister, walking from the 7-Eleven on Furnace Branch Rd.

Her parents did not report her missing for 10 days because she frequently ran away and hitchhiked.

Police told WMAR-2 News at the time that her parents must have reported Kathy missing before January.

But Kathy would not be seen alive again by her family.

On January 29, 1989, his naked body was found by people walking on an abandoned baseball field in a wooded area of ​​Pasadena.

Police say she suffered multiple injuries, which led to her death.
