Downtown Windsor Goes Green and Gold for Saints Nation

Anyone traveling to downtown Windsor over the next four days may notice things are a little different.

Downtown will be lit in green and gold to commemorate historic event national championship victory by the St. Clair Saints men’s soccer team.

Head coach Mike LaChance, the congratulatory messages and support since the victory have been overwhelming.

“Seeing downtown and Caesars Windsor lit up in green and gold will be something special for everyone in the city as well as all of Saints Nation around the world. It’s truly an honor to coach this team and be a part of something so special,” LaChance said.

From November 14 to 17, the city will light up downtown streets in Saints colors along Ouellette Avenue, between Chatham Street and Riverside Drive.

Caesars Windsor also lights up in green and gold.

Additionally, all college campuses, including the St. Clair College Arts Center, will also feature the school’s colors.
