Flow feeds hundreds of homeless people in PoS | Local business

Around 100 Flow employees, led by the company’s Vice President and Managing Director, Simone Martin-Sulgan, cooked delicious meals for 600 homeless people in Port of Spain earlier this week.

The Flow team, joined by representatives from the NOVA committee of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce and local NGO Kids in Need of Direction (KIND), was led by the Flow team soup kitchen as she prepared tasty meals Tuesday and yesterday. .

The activity was part of the company’s annual Mission Week initiative, during which more than 10,000 employees across the Caribbean and Latin America gave back to the communities in which they operate, Flow said in a statement .

Regarding the reason for supporting a soup kitchen this year, Martin-Sulgan said: “This initiative is part of our annual mission week which focuses on community support, aligning with our corporate responsibility pillars of learning, environment, access and disaster relief.

“This year, we decided to partner with the soup kitchen to give back and support our community, in line with our core values: connect, care and engage. I considered it a personal honor and pleasure to participate alongside our employees in showing that heart is more than something we have, it is something we share.

Martin-Sulgan and the Flow team were joined by Krista Lookit, Chair of the NOVA Committee of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce; and KIND Founder and President Karina Jardine-Scott.
