Rusty’s First Warning Forecast – Mild and Windy Ahead of a Great November Weekend

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Another cool morning will turn into a mild fall afternoon across the region. Highs should climb into the 60s for most of us with plenty of sunshine.

It should be just as warm on Saturday but with more clouds and wind. SSE wind gusts of up to 40 mph are possible and there is a 20% chance of seeing a few spot showers between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Any rain should be rather brief and light.

Sunday will be dry and a little cooler with highs in the 50s with less wind.

We are still monitoring Monday for likely precipitation in the area with a continued potential of 1″+ for many of us. Rain will arrive after 9 a.m. Monday and could easily last into late night before clearing out.

Beyond that, the snow potential in our area has decreased significantly for the period of Wednesday and Thursday. It looks even colder with temperatures near 40 for a few days, but the chance for additional rain and snow after Monday has moved east and out of the area for now. But keep an eye out for forecast updates throughout the weekend.
