The Cleveland Guardians are changing their look for the 2025 season, making multiple changes to their uniform.

The team issued a press release on Friday and also released a video on social media. You can watch this below:

The following is from the press release issued by the Guardians, offering more details on the changes:

Blue Alternate Road Uniform

The biggest change for the 2025 season will be seen in Cleveland’s blue alternate uniform. The jersey will continue to have a navy blue base but will move away from the “Cleveland” on the chest and will instead feature the Guardians’ “Diamond C” logo. The new look nods to the franchise’s jerseys that also featured a “C” on the chest from 1901 to 1945, including the team’s 1920 World Series jersey, while elevating the primary logo of the Guardians.

The piping on the blue jersey will be different from the other uniforms, as the jersey will have red-white-red piping to go with the navy base.

Red alternative domestic uniform

The red Guardians alternate uniform will feature a new look across the chest, as the 2024 Guardians script will be replaced with the club’s Bridge Print font with ‘Guardians’ across the chest. The piping on the red jersey will highlight a blue-white-blue look.

The new look sees the club continue to incorporate Guardians branding throughout the jersey set, with the same font that can be seen in the number placed on the back of all Cleveland jerseys.

White House Uniform

Cleveland’s white uniform will continue to retain its primary historic look with “Guardians” emblazoned across the chest. The logo will move from an inclined position to a horizontal position. New piping will be present on the jersey with a red-blue-red pattern on the neckline and arms.

A new house hat will debut in 2025, only with the white uniform, as the main color of the hat will change to red with a blue visor. All hats will continue to display the “Diamond C”, and the club’s blue cap with red peak will be worn with all other jerseys (home red, road blue, road gray).

The road gray uniforms will remain the same.

Cleveland reached the ALCS last season, winning the American League Central before losing to the New York Yankees. The Guardians also look good in 2025, but they have questions to answer in their starting rotation. There have also been rumors that the team could possibly trade first baseman Josh Naylor.

We’ll have all offseason to answer these questions, but at least we know how the Guardians will be aesthetic in 2025.
