THE Nashville Predators will play the second consecutive game Friday against the Calgary Flames at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

Nashville (5-9-3) collected two points in two games to open a five-game road trip, both in 3-2 overtime defeats against Colorado and Edmonton.

Scott Wedgewood was solid in net Thursday in Edmonton, keeping Nashville in the game with a handful of key saves in the second and third periods before Cole Smith’s tying goal late in the third.

Nashville continues on the road in Western Canada against a team with a rest advantage. Calgary (8-6-3) ended a four-game point streak with a 3-1 loss at Vancouver on Tuesday. The Flames’ 5-0-1 start has given way to an average November, although they begin a four-game homestand Friday.
