Draymond Green reveals argument between Steph Curry and Steve Kerr

Even though the Golden State Warriors have a dominant 9-2 record to start the season, that doesn’t mean it’s been easy. Even in a decisive victory against the Boston Celtics, the Warriors had a heated moment between Steph Curry and Steve Kerr.

During the latest episode of The Draymond Green Show, Green revealed an argument between Steph Curry and Steve Kerr when the Warriors were playing the Celtics.

“When I saw him, I went to Steph and reassured him, ‘Yeah, everything’s fine. Fuck it. Let’s move on,'” Green said. “Just to make sure his head stays in the right place. People react differently to things and you never know what response you’re going to get.”

Green’s reaction to Curry’s argument is very fascinating. It’s one of the little things that Green is capable of that fans don’t get to see on the court. While Curry and Kerr argued, Green monitored the entire situation.

“So I immediately look at that and I see it, and I look at Steph’s reaction and how he reacts to it,” Green said. “If he responds negatively, I already told myself I need to go talk to coach and make sure coach understands the reaction, to make sure coach understands that Steph is not responding very well to what you were yelling at him like that. Let’s just keep a So that’s already my mindset because again you gotta keep an eye on all these things You gotta know what motivates your guys and what doesn’t. not motivate them.

Even after the game ended, Green revealed that he was watching Curry during the postgame press conference. Once Curry revealed he agreed with Kerr’s comments, Green let go of the rope.

“So I’m watching it like a hawk,” Green said. “In turn, I watch the post-match press conferences. And Steph tells me, ‘No, I want to be coached like everyone else.’ This statement fits the way you continued to play after you and Steve had your moment.

Moments like these are why Draymond Green is worth the money he gets. It’s a responsibility that goes beyond basketball.
