Member countries of the artillery coalition discuss the needs of the Ukrainian army until 2027

The member countries of the Artillery Capabilities Coalition for Ukraine discussed the coordination of a road map containing the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces until 2027.

It is according to the Ministry of Defense, Ukrinform reports.

“The coalition’s online meeting, co-led by France and the United States, brought together representatives from 14 states, as well as the EU and NATO. Representatives of the participating states discussed the potential contributions of each of them to meet these needs, as well as the possibility of investing in the Ukrainian defense industry,” the statement said.

The Ministry of Defense recalled that the activities of the Artillery Coalition are aimed at enabling the Armed Forces of Ukraine to achieve sustainable integrated artillery capabilities and interoperability with NATO by the end of 2027. This should strengthening the capacity of the Ukrainian army to counter Russian aggression and deter possible further invasions, as well as neutralizing the firepower and combat capabilities of the aggressor and establishing interoperability with NATO.

As Ukrinform previously reported, an artillery coalition in support of Ukraine was officially launched on January 18 in Paris, which became one of the components of the Contact Group for the Defense of Ukraine in the format Ramstein.
