Through several fights and even movie failures in the past, the legendary actor Mammoth paved the way for its success in the film industry and is surely one of the icons of Indian cinema. A look back at the time when Mammootty revealed his passion for cinema.

Earlier at the promotional event of action film ‘Turbo’, Mammootty said that his fans are the reason why he has survived in the film industry for over 42 years. “For nearly 42 years, we actors have stood tall thanks to the courage and love of our fans. I will never let them go.

Further highlighting his passion for cinema, Mammootty said that being in films is like breathing for him and once he quits cinema, he ceases to exist. “I would not exist if cinema did not exist”, said the “Bazooka‘ actor.
In another earlier interview, Mammootty had said that people won’t remember him after he leaves. Speaking to Khalid Al Ameri, the legendary actor said: “But how long will they remember me? A year? Ten years? Fifteen years? Finished. Don’t expect people to remember you until the end of the world. This won’t happen to anyone.”
Mammootty further said that he was just one actor among a thousand and if he disappeared, people would not remember him forever. He said: “I am one actor among thousands. How can they remember me for more than a year? Once you are no longer in the world, how will you know who you are? »
On the work front, Mammootty has several highly anticipated projects in the pipeline, such as Deeno Dennis’ directorial ‘Bazooka’ and an upcoming untitled project by Mahesh Narayanan.
