Jamaat determined to establish people’s rights: Parwar

KHULNA, November 17, 2024 (BSS) – Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami General Secretary Prof. Mia Golam Parwar today said she is determined to establish people’s rights and build a happy and prosperous Bangladesh .


He made the remarks while distributing money to the destitute poor, who are suffering from water logging in Saravita district under Dumuria upazila.


Mentioning that it is not possible to eliminate waterlogging in a day, Parwar, a former legislator, said an elected government can solve the waterlogging problem.


The Awami fascists and their cronies are responsible for waterlogging, he said, adding that they were fishing and farming fish in canals, beels and rivers by illegally blocking the flow of water. water, thus triggering water stagnation.


Parwar said Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami does politics for the people and is committed to building a discrimination-free Bangladesh.


He also said that Jamaat-e-Islami always stands with the people of the country, which is why the party extends help to the unfortunate and destitute people during any disaster.


The caretaker government should take effective measures to resolve the water logging problem, he added.
