BLACKPINK’s Rosé Recalls Getting Advice From Taylor Swift When She Was ‘Drowning’

Although Rosé didn’t specifically share the advice she received from Swift, I’m afraid we’ll have to pay for this level of expertise! – she shared that her words came at a time when she needed them most.

“I’m really grateful to him because I was at a point where I was kind of drowning,” she said. “She’s literally the coolest, and she’s such a girl. She was like, make sure you take care of this and this and this – like, logistics. She was trying to protect me. Going solo, being independent , it’s not an easy thing to be careful with, and she gave me insight into everything I need to be careful about because that was the coolest part – she killed it in. the game, and she was kind enough to guide me.

Elsewhere in the interview, Rosé also explained how Rosie will be different from her work on previous solo albums and her work under BLACKPINK, admitting that the latter is almost like a popstar front for her and Rosie is the rawest version of herself that her fans, now dubbed “number ones,” have yet to see.

” I wanted to Rosie to represent what I live and what I breathe. I feel like BLACKPINK was my alter ego – I grew up watching Beyoncé’s performances, when it took about two hours to load videos on YouTube. I’m obsessed with it, and I’m so grateful because I got to live this life for almost a decade, and it’s still the best thing, but Rosie, on the other hand, would be the girl who was I download it at home,” she explained. “It’s all me. BLACKPINK was the dream, Rosie it’s still the dream. I feel like they both represent me so well. And I mean, that’s why I always say: I’m a grateful little girl.
