Freeze warning issued for parts of Northern California

Monday will bring seasonally cooler temperatures to Northern California, with higher elevations still seeing snowy conditions. Meteorologist Tamara Berg said Monday’s forecast high for downtown Sacramento is 59 degrees, down from the 63 degrees recorded Sunday. The average for this time of year is 64 degrees. High temperatures expected for the foothills are in the 50s, and high temperatures in the Sierra could reach the mid 50s. The Sierra will likely experience lingering snow showers through the morning.
