CANYON, Texas (KFDA) – Canyon commissioners have talked about funding the construction of public safety facilities and the debt it would take to make it happen, but made no decisions.

Staff suggested residents vote on a range of $13 million to $15 million in May.

The majority of commissioners expressed at least some hesitation in setting an amount not to be exceeded without more information.

They will meet in December to get more details from staff.
