Celebrities Who Spoke About Egg Freezing

Talk with the Dear Media, SHE MD podcast, Florence Pugh, 28, shared her recent experience with freezing eggs.

“I had this sudden feeling that I had to go and check everything. I had had some strange dreams; I think my body was telling me,” she began. “(The doctor) asked me if I had ever had an egg count done, and I said, ‘No, what do you mean? I’m so young. Why do I need an egg count? »

After that, she received her diagnoses of PCOS and endometriosis. Pugh said it was weird not only to receive the diagnosis, but also to hear her doctor recommend egg freezing.

“It was so weird because my family is made up of baby-making machines,” she said. “My mother had babies in her forties. …And then, of course, I learned completely different information at 27, which was that I had to get my eggs out and do it quickly, which was just a bit of a mind-boggling realization, and that I really have lucky and I’m glad I found out when I did because I’ve wanted kids since I was a kid.
