Pokemon TCG Pocket currencies and microtransactions include Poke Gold, Shop Tickets, Hourglasses, Shinedust, Pack Points and much more. The game is sometimes an incredibly complex web of interconnected currencies that can be played against each other or against each other, and it’s worth understanding how they all work. Some of them will reload or be earned for free, others won’t, and there is one currency – Early Ticket – that doesn’t do anything at all at the moment.

Yes, there are a lot of them – probably too many, to be honest – but some aren’t that important right now, while others are extremely valuable. Event hourglasses, for example, are tied to specific time-limited events and disappear when those events end. Meanwhile, gold bars are, quite rightly, the most valuable currency, in a very literal sense – it’s the one that costs money to obtain (at least in one sense).

You can get Gold Bars (also called Poke Gold) by by leveling up or paying in the store with real money. Paying higher amounts for gold tends to result in a larger overall discount.

Gold is used as a consumable that recharges quickly Endurance Pack, Wonder Stamina and Event Endurance. It can also be used for pay for some special items within the Boutique, such as new accessories.

To obtain Shop Tickets, players have several options. You can get one for free every day from the store’s free item bundle and from people who love your public binders. You can also get a limited amount per day from players who thank you after battles and after using the Pokémon TCG Pocket Wonder Pick system, by claiming them in your Gifts menu. There are also certain challenges and missions (like Viridian Forest or those in limited time events) that reward you with Shop Tickets.

Store notes are, of course, spent in the store on certain items. With them, players can purchase Pack Hourglasses, Wonder Hourglasses, Special Shop Tickets, binder covers, as well as certain cards like Professor’s Research.

To get tickets for the special store you have two options: either pay 300 regular store tickets for one of these in the store itself, or go to your workbook and use the The Pokémon TCG Pocket Style system to trade duplicates of rare variant cards.

Tickets from the special store are used to purchase elite accessories for your terrace. Right now, there are special black and gold versions of coins, playmats, card sleeves and more, and it’s likely we’ll see other rare and prestigious items appear more late.

Emblem Shop tickets are a specific type of ticket. earned through very specific challenges: the “Dex” missions and the “Themed Collection” missions. For example, obtaining all Fossil Pokémon cards or reaching 100 unique cards will earn you Emblem Shop Tickets.

Emblem tickets are, unsurprisingly, exchanged in the store for emblems, special medals that you can attach to your profile so other players can see them before fighting. At the moment there are only three available, with Pikachu, Mewtwo and Charizard, but there will likely be more in future updates.

To obtain tickets for the event store, players must complete challenges or tasks associated with limited-time events. For example, during the recently concluded Meowth/Chansey event, event store tickets were won in the form of a special draw from Wonder Picks that appeared periodically for players every two hours .

Event Store Tickets are used to buy cosmetics and special event items from the store. They are also event specific – Tickets won during the Meowth/Chansey event will not work on any other.

How to get Premium Shop Tickets in Pokemon TCG Pocket

Premium Shop Tickets are tied to the Premium Pass, the special subscription battle pass that players can obtain either by paying a monthly payment or through the two-week trial. Have the Premium Pass unlocks certain special missions and quests who grant players tickets.

Premium Boutique tickets are allows you to purchase various in-game accessories specific to the Premium Pass; with no other way to obtain them. Right now, players can enjoy a series of Mewtwo-themed options for their decks and binders.

Pack Points are a special currency that you get every time you open a normal card pack. You get five Pack Points each time you open a pack, as part of regular, guaranteed rewards.

Pack Points are used in the Points Exchange Shop Pack where you can exchange them for any card in the game (except the Pokémon TCG Pocket Promo Cards). The cost of cards increases depending on their rarity – it would be necessary to open 300 packages to obtain a single card of the highest rarity “Crown”.

Shinedust is one of the most common (and therefore least valuable) resources. You can get it every time you open a pack, as well as to complete missions and as a purchasable resource during certain eventswith players being able to spend event tickets on them.

Shinedust is used as part of payment to unlock new cosmetic touches for your cards. You destroy a duplicate of the map and pay a certain amount of Shinedust to unlock a new cosmetic effect visible during battles on this map.

A Rewind Watch is obtained every time you level up – if there is another way to earn them, we haven’t discovered it. Increasing your level gives you a single rewind watch.

Rewind watches are used for restore expired Wonder Pick options. If you fail to obtain a Wonder Pick within the three and a half hour time limit, it still remains on the list as an expired option for a short period of time. If you pay the normal Stamina cost And a rewind watch during this period, you can make your choice as if it had not expired at all.

The Pack hourglasses are a reward when you level up, for which you get 12 each time. You can also purchase them with regular Shop Tickets, and they appear in certain missions and rewards, especially those in events that you can only complete once.

An hourglass pack reduces the time it takes to open another pack by 1 hour. This means that if you want to open one immediately after opening another, you will have to spend 12.

Wonder Hourglasses, like Pack Hourglasses, are an upgrade reward where you get 12 at a time, and again, are a reward for specific missions, challenges, and events, and can also be purchasable with store tickets.

Wonderful Hourglasses reduce the time it takes to recharge your Wonder Stamina so you can collect those golden hearts faster and Wonder Pick more often. A single hourglass reduces time by 1 hour (endurance cores recharge at a rate of 1 every 12 hours).

One of the rarest and most contextual items, Event Hourglasses only appeared in the Pokémon TCG Pocket Lapras ex-event so far, and were a one-time reward for completing certain challenges during this event.

These event hourglasses were used to recharge event stamina, the resource needed to play special event matches through which players could obtain unique rewards. Again, this blue stamina recharged at a rate of 1 every 12 hours, although these hourglasses can be spent to immediately restore the stamina of a single heart at a 1:1 cost.

So far, the only way to get an early ticket is to simply log into Pokemon TCGP, in which case it will be sent to your gifts by the developers. There is no other way to get them, which means that currently no one has more than one.

More than that, the purpose of advance tickets has not yet been revealed. The description simply says “This ticket cannot be used yet. Wait until you see what it is for!” It’s possible that these are related in some way to the yet-unreleased game. Pokémon TCG Pocket Trading mechanical, although this is speculative at the moment.
