A My Hero Academia Has “Shippuden” happened?

At the time of writing this article, a My Hero Academia the sequel has not been confirmed. As mentioned earlier, although the anime has confirmed an eighth season, the anime adaptation may take certain routes to continue weaving new stories. For example, the fourth film in the franchise, My Hero Academia: You are nextwas not billed as the series finale, meaning the UA Academy story could continue on the big screen.

There also remains one major spinoff series that has yet to be brought to the small screen. My Hero Academia: Vigilants may not have been created by Kohei Horikoshi, but the side story explored a less visible side of the UA Academy universe. The vigilantes focused on crime fighters who operated outside the law, including Crawler, Pop Step, and Knuckleduster. Given the length of this manga, it would be possible for an anime adaptation to span multiple seasons.
