  • Royal Enfield revealed the Goan Classic 350 Bobber in India
  • The bike features some very nice colors and design changes
  • Gets the same 350cc engine as the Classic 350

Royal Enfield has unveiled the Goan Classic 350 in India, their latest addition to the 350cc range. The bike is a bobber offering based on the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and shares many parts in common with the bike.

What’s new?

THE Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 presents many changes, starting with the colors. Compared to Royal Enfield Classic 350the Goan gets much brighter color combinations that manage to attract a lot of attention.

Design-wise, there have been a few changes including the addition of an ape-hanger style handlebar, the removal of the rear seat and also the addition of a new exhaust pipe. These changes, while minor, manage to make the bike stand out and give it that unique bobber look and feel.

Along with this, Royal Enfield also made some changes to the bike’s underpinnings. The bike comes with a 19-inch front and 16-inch rear spoke wheel setup with white wall tubeless tires. The tires look really nice and give the bike a retro look and feel, while also making punctures easier to deal with.

What remains unchanged?

The Goan Classic 350 still shares many similarities with the Classic 350. It gets the same engine, which is an air-cooled 349c single-cylinder engine that produces 20.2 hp and 27 Nm.

It is built on a double cradle frame and features a suspension setup including a telescopic fork and dual shock absorbers. The braking setup includes a 300mm front disc and a 270mm rear disc.

Features remain similar to the Classic 350, with the Goan getting a single-pod instrument console with an analog speedometer and a digital inset for fuel level, trip and odometer readings. Customers also have the option to get the Royal Enfield Tripper navigation module for turn-by-turn navigation.

ZigSays

The introduction of the Goan Classic 350 will provide customers looking to get their hands on a bobber some much needed variety. Currently, there are only two bobber offerings in the market, the Jawa Perak and the Jawa 42 Bobber. But the two are on opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to design and style. The Jawa Perak is a retro style bike and the 42 Bobber is a modern bike.

The Goan Classic 350 will be an ideal happy medium and offer a retro driving experience, with a bit flashier looks and colors. We believe the bike could be launched at a price tag around the Rs 2.2 lakh ex-showroom mark.
