Police are trying to piece together the last movements of a man found dead in Moray who may have been hit by a vehicle.

John Geddes, 33, was reported missing from the Lossiemouth area last week.

His body was found on Sunday afternoon near the A941, near the entrance to Sunbank Quarry.

Police Scotland said officers believed Mr Geddes may have been hit by a vehicle. A car and its driver have been located and efforts are being made to establish Mr Geddes’ last known movements.
