I was shocked by the comment on Iliman Ndiaye – Everton fans will disagree

Our Everton jury have their say on the big talking points at Goodison Park

Everton currently find themselves three points above the drop zone, despite having lost just one of their last five league matches. Brentford, on the other hand, are six points clear of Sean Dyche’s side and beat Bournemouth last time out.

I couldn’t believe what I heard when Sean Dyche suggested that there was no evidence to suggest that Iliman Ndiaye expected to play the number 10 role for Everton. Sometimes he really doesn’t help himself.

If so, what evidence is there to suggest that Dwight McNeil Does he have what it takes to play the No.10 role, given he has played most of his career on the wing? Everyone can see that Ndiaye has what it takes to play behind the striker, especially since he has played there in the past.

If Dyche doesn’t think this is his best position then, yes, he is the manager after all. But he should be honest and admit that he prefers Ndiaye on the left rather than in the middle. Don’t start making wild claims that there is no evidence to support what many fans would like to see.

It’s comments like this that really don’t help Dyche when it comes to his relationship with Blues fans. Speaking of supporters, many will return to Goodison Park this weekend when Everton return to action against Brentford.

Make no mistake, this is a huge match for the Blues. With the fixtures we have in December, it is vital that we collect all three points this weekend. If we don’t, we’ll find ourselves nervously looking over our shoulders again.

As winter approaches, the British weather report It’s been freezing cold the last few days. However, it’s the upcoming fixture list that will send shivers down the spines of most Evertonians.

Many fans would have expected the Toffees to have accrued more points at this stage of the season, and with December on the horizon, Sean Dyche’s side still have just two league wins under their belt. He has undoubtedly made the Blues harder to beat in recent weeks, but their matches over the Christmas period will provide a huge test of this new-found defensive rigidity.

In December, Everton will play at Old Trafford, the Emirates and the Etihad, and host Liverpool and Chelsea. The Toffees’ record against most of these big teams is extremely poor, and points will be extremely difficult to score for the club during this period, meaning they could well find themselves in a perilous position at the turn of the season. ‘year.

That said, it is very important that the Blues manage to get a positive result against Brentford on Saturday. Even with their eight-point deduction, Everton still managed to finish ahead of the Bees in the table last campaign, but Thomas Frank’s side look much stronger this season, with only Tottenham improving their tally of 22 goals scored up to present this season.

Given this offensive threat, the Goodison faithful will be hoping that Jarrad Branthwaite will be able to start a second consecutive match for the first time this season, after spending the international break working on his fitness at Finch Farmdespite another call-up to the England senior team. In the two matches the Cumbrian has managed to start this campaign, the Blues have won one and kept a clean sheet in the other, demonstrating the quality the 22-year-old brings to the team.

Evertonians will be hoping for an early Christmas present in December in the form of a Friedkin Group takeover finally finalized, but in the meantime, three points this weekend ahead of a tough run of matches would also go a long way to boost morale.
