At 3:11 p.m. Friday, the National Weather Service issued an updated winter weather advisory in effect until 7 p.m. for Northampton County.

The weather service adds: “Additional snow accumulations of up to an inch.”

“Expect slippery roads. Dangerous conditions could impact travel Friday evening,” describes the weather service. “Slow down and use caution when traveling. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.”
