The coldest air of the season | Frost Warning in place Thursday evening through Friday for central North Carolina

RALEIGH, North Carolina (WTVD) — Some of the coldest air of the season has moved into central North Carolina.

Friday morning was the coldest morning of the fall so far. There was a frost warning until 9 a.m.

The cold continues with a cool breeze Saturday morning, so for those who attended the ABC11 Raleigh Christmas Parade we had to bundle up.

It will be partly cloudy, but still windy in the afternoon. High temperatures will be around 60 degrees, then drop to the 30s Saturday night.

Sunday will be brighter with highs in the mid 60s, then into the 70s Monday with some afternoon clouds.

Some of the coldest air of the season arrives tonight and that will be accompanied by a frost watch for central North Carolina.
