Women’s Euro 2025 Wales v Ireland – how to follow all the action on the BBC

Rhian Wilkinson’s side will embark on arguably the most important matches in their history as they look to qualify for their first major tournament.

The first leg on Friday 29 November at Cardiff City Stadium will be broadcast live on BBC One Wales, BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio Cymru, all from 7pm.

The second leg at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Tuesday December 3 will be broadcast live on BBC One Wales and BBC Three from 7.15pm. On the radio, live commentary will be broadcast on Radio Wales Sport and Chwaraeon Radio Cymru from 7pm.

Reflecting on match coverage over the coming days, Cymru head coach Rhian Wilkinson says: “As the oft-used saying goes, you can’t be what you can’t see, and that’s the void that the Welsh women’s national team fills when playing at home. and when they enjoy prime time on our televisions. These women have been punching at the top of their weight for a decade, a team that runs with pride and passion for their country, a team that knows nothing other than to give their all for their flag.

“These women will not only take to the pitch at Cardiff City Stadium to take another step towards Euro 2025 qualifying history, but will also once again be the face of what could be for so many young women Welsh. Their faces, their pride are front and center on Welsh television. These women are the heroes of a generation of women here in Wales, paving the way and a normality for female sporting excellence in our great country.
