VS ILP is expanding in Siliguri, West Bengal with an investment of Rs ₹50 crore in a new industrial facility.

TVS Industrial and Logistics Parks (TVS ILP), part of the TVS Mobility Group, a leading developer of industrial and logistics parks in India, has entered deeper into the Eastern market with the acquisition of a new industrial facility in Siliguri, West Bengal. It will invest ₹50 crore in 1.40 lakh square feet on a 5.66-acre land in Fulbari.

The new facility makes TVS ILP the first major developer to establish a presence in the city, cementing its pioneering role in providing A-grade industrial infrastructure across the country, an official statement said.

Expansion plans

Siliguri, a major Tier 2 city in West Bengal, straddles Darjeeling and Jalpaiguri districts and serves as the ‘gateway to North East India’. Traditionally known for its tea, timber and tourism industries, Siliguri has seen rapid growth in transportation and logistics, making it a vital hub for commercial and industrial operations. Its location on the Eastern Corridor and its access to NH 27 consolidate its position as a key logistics and industrial hub.

TVS ILP’s new Siliguri Park is designed with a focus on operational efficiency and flexibility. It currently hosts a major e-commerce player and offers bespoke build options, ensuring the facility can meet a variety of business requirements.

In addition to the new facility in Siliguri, TVS ILP has an existing project in Cuttack and is actively looking for new expansion opportunities, the release added.
