YouTuber turned professional boxer Jake Paul made history by defeated former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in an eight-round unanimous decision. The November event, held at the iconic AT&T Stadium, was a spectacle that will be remembered for years to come, especially by the millions of viewers who tuned in on Netflix.

The event was broadcast on Netflix attracted more than 108 million live viewers worldwide and was the largest fight in the United States held outside of Las Vegas. However, the fight was not without controversies. Questions were raised about whether the fight was settled in Paul’s favor, leading Most Valuable Promotions, which Paul co-owns, to release a statement address these concerns. The controversy sparked heated debate among boxing fans and experts, with some questioning the integrity of the fight and others defending the fighters’ performances.

“Both fighters performed in good faith to the best of their abilities in an effort to win the fight,” Most Valuable Production said. statement read. “There were no contractual or other restrictions around either fighter. Each boxer was capable of using his entire arsenal to win the fight. Any agreement to the contrary would violate TDLR (Texas Department) boxing rules of Licensing and Regulators).”

Paul, who has made it clear he is serious about his boxing career, has set his sights on top opponents including Canelo Alvarez. The prospect of seeing these two titans face off in the ring is a tantalizing one, and it’s a match Paul can’t wait to make happen.

Canelo, on the other hand, declared that he is focused on fighting world-class opponents but is not ruling out a fight with Paul once he is at the end of his career and retired.
