AP Strengthens Partnership with Lubricant Distributors for Strong Performance

Ardova Plc, one of Nigeria’s leading indigenous integrated energy companies, has set a new benchmark in the lubricants market with the unveiling of its state-of-the-art Lubricating Oil Blending Plant (LOBP).

With a production capacity of 150 million liters per year and a storage capacity of 14 million liters, the new facility is designed to meet the changing demand of the Nigerian market while ensuring constant supply across all ranges of products.

This announcement was made during the ‘AP Lubricants Distributors Forum’ held at the company’s terminal in Lagos, where Ardova also presented several initiatives aimed at strengthening its partnership with distributors, following a tour of the facilities.

Chairman of Ardova Plc, AbdulWasiu Sowami, has shared his views on the decision to build a new blending plant instead of upgrading its existing facilities.. “Three years ago, we realized that to achieve our goal of adequately meeting the demand for lubricants in the Nigerian market, we needed to transform our lubricants plant into a state-of-the-art lubricating oil blending plant that will represent our commitment to innovation and excellence. to dominate the lubricants market.

Sowami concluded his welcome speech by thanking distributors for their loyalty and patience during the construction period, noting the supply challenges faced by distributors during this period.

“Our LOBP is equipped to ensure robust inventory management, significantly reducing the risk of stockouts. This facility is scalable, allowing us to produce more, store more and guarantee our distributors seamless access to our products,” added Moshood Olajide, Managing Director of Ardova Plc.

To reward and empower its distributors, Ardova has introduced a reward program for top performing partners, as well as other incentives. The company has also improved its logistics with a dedicated fleet of lubricant trucks and improved payment systems for seamless transactions. Products now feature unique identifiers for tracking and market protection.

Olajide highlighted the company’s commitment to collaboration, saying: “Our distributors are not just partners; they are the backbone of our business. We strive to ensure their profitability through financial and non-financial incentives, marketing support and constant product availability.

With the capacity to produce 20% of Nigeria’s total lubricant demand, Ardova is well positioned to drive growth and innovation in the downstream oil and gas sector. “This factory demonstrates our commitment to meeting market demands and growing alongside our partners,” » said Sowami.
